Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-05-01.
By using Whisp you agree to these terms. They are written plainly because you should be able to read them in three minutes.
The service
Whisp delivers reminders you create to your Telegram account at times you schedule. Reminders are created via the Telegram bot or the web dashboard.
Your account
- You log in via Telegram. You're responsible for keeping your Telegram account secure.
- You agree not to use Whisp to harass, deceive, or send unlawful content.
- You agree not to abuse the service (e.g. mass account creation, bypassing rate limits, attempting to disrupt other users).
Free and paid plans
- The free plan caps active reminders and minimum interval. The current limits are shown in the app.
- The paid plan is USD $5 per month, billed monthly via Stripe, recurring until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Pricing may change with 14 days' notice; existing subscribers keep their current price for 60 days after any change.
Refunds (Australian Consumer Law)
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If Whisp is not delivered as described, doesn't fire your reminders, or is otherwise faulty, you're entitled to a refund or remedy under the ACL. Contact us via Telegram and we'll sort it.
Outside ACL guarantees, paid subscriptions are non-refundable for change-of-mind once the billing period has begun, but you can cancel any time and won't be billed further.
Reliability
- We aim for reliable delivery but don't guarantee 100% uptime. Whisp is not suitable as the sole alarm for life-critical events (medication for which a missed dose is dangerous, court appearances, etc.). Use a redundant alarm for those.
- Reminder delivery depends on Telegram; if Telegram is down, your reminders may be delayed or missed.
Termination
- You can delete your account at any time from the account page. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
- We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, breach these terms, or use it unlawfully.
Privacy
See the privacy notice for what data we collect and how to control it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of Whisp is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in this clause excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or rights you have under non-excludable consumer guarantees.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia (and the State of New South Wales where applicable). Disputes will be heard in Australian courts.
Changes
We'll update the date at the top when these terms change. Material changes will be posted on this page and announced via Telegram message.
